I have never since been early for anything.
So we lived in VA and MD and my parents fought a lot. I mostly played on the Iwo Jima statue at the Marine War Memorial Park. You used to be able to climb on it, but you can't anymore. There is a fence.
When I was three we moved to Los Angeles. My parents split up not long after we moved. I remember the first time my dad left. My parents got in a screaming match because dad tried to take the mattress and mom wasn't having any of it. I wouldn't have let him take the mattress either.
Mom and I moved to east LA. Good times. I wasn't allowed to go ANYWHERE. At that time in LA (1988-1990) the gang problem had gotten really out of control. I remember that you had to be really careful about what color you wore out of the house.
They got back together about a year later and we moved to West Covina. Then they split for good.
We lived in Ojai, CA (aka paradise) for 2.5 years then we moved to Flagstaff. I used to see my dad all the time in CA. I remember being in Flag and realizing that my parents were never getting back together. I cried about it for about 30 minutes, fell asleep, and never thought about it again.
Mom hated Flagstaff. It was cold and expensive and her boss was a bitch.
We moved to Tucson at the beginning of June 1994.
Middle school was awful so I will skip it. Except for meeting Monique. But technically I met her in 5th grade.
I went to CDO high school, graduated in 2002. Our senior song was "Party Hard" by Andrew W.K. We had fireworks. It was kind of a rich school.
Two days later I cut off all my hair Mia Farrow style and lost my virginity. It was a big day.
When I was 20 I had a minor nervous breakdown. I met Cass the same year. We got married in October (rocktober?) 2009.
Thats it.
Well, mostly.
I was a pretty cute kid.
Also I distinctly remember that pink snow jacket on the bottom right. It was fluffy.
