Trip Part II: Grammy & Poppa's

We got a free upgrade on the rental car:

Cuuuuuuute!

We ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel. I think it was in Avondale or Tolleson. The best part (that I didn't get a picture of)? I guess after all the racial stuff they had to advertise their multi-cultural attitude. There was a sign on the front door that said something to the effect of "We will take your money no matter what color you are."

Breakfast:

Eggs in a basket!

Grandparent's house:

My Grammy has been really sick. Like, kidney removed sick. Every day she walks along the Colorado River. A little bit further each day. Here are some pictures. It was really beautiful this weekend. The road is closed due to rock falls, so I took some pictures of rock falls. The three people are Poppa, Mom, and Grammy.

Some pictures of the river. It was really full and very blue. The snow runoff is starting. There were a few people out on boats and jetskis, but it was pretty windy.

I always wanted to ride on a jet-ski.

Locals call this "idiot rock." Teenagers used to jump off of it into the river. Someone died every summer. It used to be covered in graffiti and markings, but most of them have faded now.

It was a nice trip. I really enjoyed myself. I miss my family so so so much sometimes.
